SI 2022/1393. The Product Safety and Metrology (Amendment and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2022. Comes into force 31st December. These Regulations extend the transitional period for the Regulations listed following EU exit from twenty-four months from IP day to four years. They extend the period during which conformity markings may be placed on a label affixed to the product, or a document accompanying the product, rather than on the product itself from thirty-six months from IP day to seven years. Finally they extend the period during which information identifying an importer can be set out in a document accompanying the imported product from twenty-four months from IP day to seven years.
