SI 2024/409. The Energy-Intensive Industry Electricity Support Payments and Levy Regulations 2024.  Comes into force 26th March. These Regulations set out the entitlement for electricity support payments and state how such payments are to be funded (through a levy on electricity suppliers) and administered.

SSI 2024/98. The Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Amendment Order 2024. Comes into force 22nd  March. These Regulations amend The Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Order 2009 (SSI 2009/140) to require suppliers of electricity to customers in Scotland to generate a designated number of Scottish Renewables Obligation Certificates.

RI 2024/122. Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Carcinogens, Mutagens and Reprotoxic Substances) Regulations 2024. Regulation published 29th March. These Regulations revoke the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Carcinogens) Regulations, 2001 (RI 2001/78). These Regulations give effect to Directive (EU) 2022/431 on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work.

SI 2024/455. The Cosmetic Products (Restriction of Chemical Substances) Regulations 2024.  Comes into force 22nd April.  These Regulations amend Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products by adding to butylated hydroxytoluene to the list, in Annex 3,  of restricted products in cosmetics.
