SSI 2020/310

SSI 2020/310.  The Town and Country Planning, Management of Extractive Waste and Electricity Works (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2020.  Comes into force immediately before IP Completion Day. These Regulations make amendments to previous EU Exit legislation in the fields of environmental protection, town and country planning, electricity works, hazardous substances, and the management of extractive waste to correct references to “exit day”.

SSI 2020/314. The Waste (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2020. Comes into force on 4th December.   These Regulations amend references to EU Directives in:

SI 2020/1105

SI 2020/1105.  The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020. Comes into force 14th October.  These Regulations impose restrictions on gatherings and businesses in the areas specified in Schedule 2, where the COVID-19 alert level is assessed as being very high, and on gatherings elsewhere by persons living in the specified areas. The restrictions on businesses in the specified areas consist of limitations on the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises, the imposition of restricted hours for certain businesses and closure of certain businesses in the specified areas.  The restrictions will cease to have effect in relation to a particular area twenty-eight days from the date in which the restrictions came into force in that area. Where necessary the Secretary of State may direct that the restrictions continue in effect for a further twenty-eight days.

These Regulations list a number of local authorities to which the Regulations apply on the date at which they were published.
