.Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/706.  Comes into force 8th May. Regulation amending Annex VII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards skin sensitisation and repealing Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1688. Seeks to avoid animal testing and the repetition of already performed tests.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/699. Comes into force 8th May. Regulation establishing a common methodology for the calculation of the weight of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) placed on the market of each Member State and a common methodology for the calculation of the quantity of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) generated by weight in each Member State.

The Scottish Landfill Tax (Administration) Amendment Regulations 2017. Comes into force 29th May. Amends The Scottish Landfill Tax (Administration) Regulations 2015 (SSI 2015/3). The Regulations expand the definitions of “bankrupt” and “incapacitated”.

The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2017. Comes into force 23rd May.  Amends parts 3, 4 and 11 of Schedule 2 of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (SI 2015/596).
