RI 2022/51. Waste Management (Prohibition of Waste Disposal by Burning) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 1st January 2023.    Amends Waste Management (Prohibition of Waste Disposal by Burning) Regulations 2009 (RI 2009/286).   Regulation 6 now states that the burning of waste in compliance with Regulation 5(1) (a) and 5(1) (b) shall cease on 1 January 2023.

SI 2022/144 The Pesticides (Revocation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 4th April. These Regulations revoke thirty-one retained EU Regulations (listed in the schedule) relating to pesticides and, in particular, legislation relating to plant protection products and maximum residue levels.

SI 2022/159. The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme and Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2022.  Coming into force 15th March. These Regulations amend the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2014 (SI 2014/928) and the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2018 (SI 2018/611).

SI 2022/190. The Waste and Agriculture (Legislative Functions) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 26th February.  This legislation replaces the European Union with the relevant UK public authority as the empowering body for the following EU Directives in the UK
