The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. Comes into force 8th December. These Regulations transpose Directive 2014/35/EU on the marketing of electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits into UK law. These Regulations revoke and replace the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994 (SI 1994/3260).

The Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. Comes into force 8th December. These Regulations transpose Directive 2014/68/EU on the marketing of pressure equipment into UK law. These Regulations revoke and replace the Pressure Equipment Regulations 1999 (SI 1999/2001).

The Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2016. Comes into force 8th December. These Regulations transpose Directive 2014/34/EU relating to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres into UK law. These Regulations revoke and replace the Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 1996 (SI 1996/192).

 The Air Quality Standards (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016.  Comes into force 31st December.  These Regulations amend the Air Quality Standards (Scotland) Regulations 2010 (SSI 2010/204) to implement changes brought in by Commission Directive (EU) 2015/1480.  This Directive amends the rules concerning reference methods, data validation and location of sampling points for the assessment of ambient air quality.
