RI 2024/61. Sea Pollution (Ballast Water Management Convention) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.  Legislation published 27th February. These Regulations amend Sea Pollution (Ballast Water Management Convention) Regulations 2023. (RI 2023/188). The amendments allow for the Marine Survey Office to delegate certain functions in relation to survey and certification to recognised organisations

SI 2024/241

SI 2024/241. The Oil and Gas Authority (Levy and Fees) Regulations 2024. Comes into force 1st April. These Regulations cover the levy and fees payable to the Oil and Gas Authority by holders of petroleum licences. They also amend the Oil and Gas Authority (Fees) Regulations 2016 (SI 2016/904) with respect to certain fees charged by the OGA relating to the offshore oil and gas industry including carbon dioxide storage.

SI 2024/322. The Health and Safety and Nuclear (Fees) (Amendment) and Gas Safety (Miscellaneous Amendment) Regulations 2024. Comes into force 1st April. These Regulations amend Health and Safety and Nuclear (Fees) Regulations 2022 (SI 2022/1378). They introduce new full cost recovery fee charging provisions for the following areas: i. explosives, including acetylene safety ii. onshore oil, gas and geothermal well and borehole operations iii. )pipelines conveying fluid under the Pipelines Safety Regulations 1996 iv. onshore wind energy installations and offshore wind or marine energy

SI 2024/333. The Infrastructure Planning (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2024. Comes into force 1st April.    These Regulations amend Infrastructure Planning (Fees) Regulations 2010 (SI 2010/106)    by adding a new Regulation which provides for the charging of fees by the Secretary of State to the applicant for pre-application services.
