SI 2023/1217. The Persistent Organic Pollutants (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2023.  Comes into force 16th November.  Annex 1 to Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 on persistent organic pollutants is amended by adding the substance Perfluorohexane Sulfonic Acid (PFHxS), its salts.

SI 2023/1226.  The Climate Change Agreements (Administration and Eligible Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2023. Coming into force 31st December.  These Regulations amend The Climate Change Agreements (Administration) Regulations 2012 (SI 2012/1976); changes to target periods, buy out fees and penalties and The Climate Change Agreements (Eligible Facilities) Regulations 2012 (SI 2012/2999) extends the scheme until 31st March 2027.

SI 2023/1243. The Controlled Waste (England and Wales) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2023. Comes into force 31st December. These Regulations amend Section 9 of Schedule 1; Waste from construction or demolition works, including preparatory works in The Controlled Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2012 (SI 2012/811).

SI 2023/1216. The Merchant Shipping (Small Workboats and Pilot Boats) Regulations 2023.  Comes into force 13th December.  These Regulations revoke and replace the Merchant Shipping (Small Workboats and Pilot Boats) Regulations 1998 (SI 1998/1609.  These Regulations cover periodical survey requirements, how applications for certificates may be made and determined and the duration, validity, extension or cancellation of a certificate or prohibitions in relation to certificates. They also set out the responsibilities of owners and masters and the requirements to report incidents and deficient vessels.
