SI 2022/1037. The Chemicals (Health and Safety) Trade and Miscellaneous Amendments Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 1st November. Makes minor textural amendments to Plant Protection Product (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2011 (Northern Ireland protocol), Biocidal Products and Chemicals (Appointment of Authorities and Enforcement) Regulations 2013 (Northern Ireland protocol) and Health and Safety and Nuclear (Fees) Regulations 2021 (references to EU Regulations).

EU 2022/1616. Commission Regulation on recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foods.  Published on 15th September. This Regulation lays down rules for the placing on the market of plastic materials and articles containing plastic originating from waste or manufactured therefrom, the development and operation of recycling technologies, processes and installations, to produce recycled plastic for use in those plastic materials and articles and the use in contact with food of recycled plastic materials and articles and of plastic materials and articles which are intended to be recycled.

SI 2022/1096. The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 17th November. Amends Regulations 51A and 52A of SI 2018/611 The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2018, with respect to ground source heat pumps.

SI 2022/1152. The Control of Mercury (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2022. Comes into force 2nd December. Amends wording in Regulation (EU) 2017/852, from “a Member State” to “Great Britain”.
