SI 2022/737. The Merchant Shipping (Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 29th July. These Regulations implement the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments.  They apply to United Kingdom ships wherever they may be and to any other ship whilst it is operating in United Kingdom waters or controlled waters

RI 2022/356. European Union (Port Reception Facilities For The Delivery Of Waste From Ships) Regulations 2022.  Published 15th July.  These regulation revoke and replace The European Union (Port Reception Facilities for the Delivery of Waste from Ships) Regulations 2021 (RI 2021/296).

SI 2022/836. The Plant Health etc. (Miscellaneous Fees) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 22nd July.  These Regulations amend, with respect to England only, mend the Plant Health (Fees) (Forestry) (England and Scotland) Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/350) and the Plant Health etc. (Fees) (England) Regulations 2018 (SI 2018/289) to extend to 31st December 2023 the duration of exemptions and amend the fees payable by importers.
