The Building (Energy Performance of Buildings) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016. Comes into force 13th March. These regulations amend The Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (SSI 2004/406).

Regulation 2 amends regulation 17 of and paragraph 6.1 of Schedule 5 to insert requirements in relation to the inspection of air-conditioning systems in buildings and nearly zero-energy buildings.

The Building (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016. Comes into force 1st July. These regulations amend The Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (SSI 2004/406). Amendments are made to Schedule 5 of the regulations with respect to physical infrastructure for high-speed electronic communications networks.

The Emissions Performance Standard Monitoring and Enforcement Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016. Comes into force 15th March. These Regulations put in place the monitoring and enforcement arrangements for Northern Ireland as required by the Energy Act 2013 (c 32)

The Loch Sunart to the Sound of Jura Marine Conservation Order 2016. Comes into force 23rd March. This Order furthers the stated conservation objectives for the Loch Sunart to the Sound of Jura MPA insofar as they relate to common skate and protects the Firth of Lorn Special Area of Conservation (“Firth of Lorn SAC”) in respect of reefs.
