SI 2022/117. The Plastic Packaging Tax (General) Regulations 2022.  Comes into force 1st April. The Regulations make provision for plastic packaging tax, introduced by Part 2 of the Finance Act 2021 (c. 26)

SSI 2022/46.   The Scottish Landfill Tax (Standard Rate and Lower Rate) Order 2022. Comes into force 1st April. The standard rate is £98.60 and the lower rate is £3.15.

SI 2022/119. The Air Traffic Management and Unmanned Aircraft Act 2021 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2022. Comes into force 18th February. Sections 1 to 8 and Schedules 1 to 2.

SI 2022/96. The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Entry into Enclosed Spaces) Regulations 2022. Comes into force 14th May. These Regulations revoke the Merchant Shipping (Entry into Dangerous Spaces) Regulations 1988 (SI 1988/1638); re-enact certain provisions of those Regulations; give effect to the new regulation 7 of Chapter XI-1 of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974; and extend the requirements of that regulation and regulation 19 of Chapter III of SOLAS to ships other than SOLAS ships.
