RI 2022/222.  Merchant Shipping (Radio Installations Survey) Rules 2022.  Comes into force 4th May. These Rules implement the provisions of the survey and certification regime of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 (SOLAS), in respect of radio installations surveys for merchant ships.

SI 2022/518. The Environment Act 2021 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2022.  Provisions coming into force on 10th May are Sections 17, 18, 19(5) and (6), 20, 85 and 87. Provisions coming into force on 30th September are Sections 109, 111 and 116 plus Schedule 17.

A 2022 c.30 Building Safety Act 2022.  Sections 1, 2(1, 7, 28, 30, 61 to 70 and 115 come into force on 13th May. ; This Act has six Parts, and contains provisions intended to secure the safety of people in or about buildings and to improve the standard of buildings.

SI 2022/544. The Fire Safety Act 2021 (Commencement)(England) Regulations 2022. Section 1 comes into force on 16th May.
