SI 2021/905. The REACH etc. (Amendment) Regulations 2021.  Comes into force 30th September. These Regulations amend the retained version of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

Amendments cover the definition of a medical device and alterations to Annex 14 (list of substances subject to authorisation),

SI 2021/909. The Calorie Labelling (Out of Home Sector) (England) Regulations 2021.  Coming into force 6th April 2022.  These Regulations require qualifying businesses which sell food for immediate consumption, either in a café, restaurant or other catering establishment or as take away food, to provide information relating to the energy content of the food they sell.

SI 2021/917. The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Auctioning (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2021.  Comes in to force 25th August.  These Regulations amend SI 2021/484 The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Auctioning Regulations 2021. The main changes are in the way in which the annual volume of allowances to be auctioned in a calendar year is to be calculated, the release of unused allowances originally allocated to certain industrial sectors  and the processes by which the auctions are managed.

by changing references to Public Health England, in lists of bodies contained in the above Regulations, to the United Kingdom Health Security Agency.
