Republic of Ireland  RI 2022/708. European Union (Planning and Development) (Habitats and Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2022.  Regulations published 20^th December.  These Regulations amend RoI Planning and Development Act 2000 (AI 2000 c.30). Amendments are to Section 173A , to align the Act with the Environmental Protection Agency Act and Sections 181(2A) and 181B which will permit the granting an exemption  in response to civil emergencies  or where the development has been identified as likely having significant effects on the environment.
