The Pollution Prevention and Control (Designation) (England and Wales) Order 2016. Came into force 3rd February. This Order designates Directive 2009/126/EC on Stage II petrol vapour recovery during refuelling of motor vehicles at service for the purposes of paragraph 20(1)(b) of Schedule 1 to the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 (c.24)

The Smoke-free Premises etc. (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2016. Came into force 4th February. This amendment provides a temporary exemption to the requirements of the Smoke-free Premises etc. (Wales) Regulations 2007 with respect to prisons up until 5th April 2017.

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2016. Comes into force 6th April. Section 1 (protection of wild birds, their nests and eggs) is amended.
