.Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/706. Comes into force 8th May. Regulation amending Annex VII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards skin sensitisation and repealing Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1688. Seeks to avoid animal testing and the repetition of already performed tests.

new regulations 3A, 3B, 3C and 7A. amendments to regulation 6 (preparation of an environmental statement) and 8 new Schedules 1 and 2

The Offshore Petroleum Production and Pipe-lines (Environmental Impact Assessment and other Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2017. Comes into force 16th May.

Part 1 contains amendments to the Offshore Petroleum Production and Pipe-lines (Assessment of Environmental Effects) Regulations 1999 (SI 1999/ 360) Part 2 contains amendments to the Public Gas Transporter Pipe-line Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 1999 (SI 1999/1672) Part 3 contains amendments to the Pipe-line Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000/1928) Part 4 sets out miscellaneous amendments of other legislation.
