The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2017.  Coming into force 1st April. These Regulations amend the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 (SR 2012/396). Regulation 36 of SR 2012/396 is amended to introduce a tiered tariff and an annual cap of 400,000kWhth for eligible heat payments to small or medium commercial biomass installations accredited before 18th November 2015.

The Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2017. Comes into force 31st January. These Regulations further amend the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/2786) by changing the definition of “Technical Instructions”.

The Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) Order 2017. Comes into force 30th January.  Article 2 of this Order establishes, under section 22 of the Petroleum Act 1987, a safety zone having a radius of 500 metres from the Callater Towhead Manifold (a subsea installation), Block 9/19b, Beryl Field.
