SI 2020/1222. The Merchant Shipping (Safety Standards for Passenger Ships on Domestic Voyages) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2020. Comes into force 1st January 2021. These Regulations amend SI 2000/2687 The Merchant Shipping (Passenger Ships on Domestic Voyages) Regulations 2000 and SI 2004/302 Merchant Shipping (High Speed Craft) Regulations 2004 to implement Directive (EU) 2017/2108 on safety rules and standards for passenger ships.
SI 2020/1218. The Infrastructure Planning (Electricity Storage Facilities) Order 2020. Comes into force 2nd December. This Order amends the Planning Act 2008 (c. 29) to remove electricity storage facilities (except for pumped hydroelectric storage facilities) from the category of generating stations whose construction or extension requires development consent as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.
SI 2020/1200. The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 Comes into force 5th December. These Regulations impose restrictions on the occasions on which a person can leave or be outside of the place where they are living and on gatherings. They also require the closure of a number of businesses, and impose restrictions on businesses.
Regulation 5 states that no person may leave or be outside of the place where they are living without reasonable excuse.
Regulation 6 lists exceptions to Regulation 5 which include:buying goods or obtaining services from any business or service listed in Part 3 of the Schedule,obtaining money from or depositing money with any business listed in the scheduletaking exercise outside in designated circumstancesvisiting a public outdoor place for the purposes of open-air recreation in designated circumstancescollecting food, drink or other goods which have been ordered from a business, or to access goods or services which are provided, visiting a waste disposal or recycling centre.

Regulation 15 covers restrictions on service of food and drink for consumption on the premises.
