SSI 2024/98. The Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Amendment Order 2024. Comes into force 22nd  March. These Regulations amend The Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Order 2009 (SSI 2009/140) to require suppliers of electricity to customers in Scotland to generate a designated number of Scottish Renewables Obligation Certificates.

SI 2024/409. The Energy-Intensive Industry Electricity Support Payments and Levy Regulations 2024.  Comes into force 26th March. These Regulations set out the entitlement for electricity support payments and state how such payments are to be funded (through a levy on electricity suppliers) and administered.

SI 2024/400. The Packaging Waste (Data Collection and Reporting) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2024. Comes into force 1st April. These Regulations amend the Packaging Waste (Data Collection and Reporting) (Wales) Regulations (SI 2023/798) to revise the definition of “household packaging”, clarify the division of responsibilities, to require the Natural Resources Wales to publish a list of large producers, and to make other amendments.
