Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy consultations

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is consulting on proposed regulatory changes to remove  potential advantages in the Capacity Market, along with a number of technical changes. The method by which Capacity Market costs are recouped has the potential to give an unfair advantage to small embedded generation including diesel. HSE propose changes to INDG163

HSE has recently published some proposed changes to the risk assessment guidance contained in INDG163, which would allow duty holders some flexibility to rely on other documents such as procedures, safe systems of work etc. to demonstrate a record of the significant findings of their risk assessment. Consultation on WEEE compliance fees

The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) is consulting on WEEE compliance fee methodology 2016. Consultation closes 25th November.
