MCA consultation on reducing risks to fishing vessels from submarines

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is consulting on a new Marine Guidance Note to replace MGN 12 which describes how the Royal Navy minimise the risk to fishing vessels operating in areas of submarine activity and how to obtain information about submarine activity and what action fishing vessel skippers need to take when operating in areas of submarine activity. BEIS consultation on environmental impact assessments

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy is consulting on proposals for implementing amendments to the European Union Directive on environmental impact assessment as the Directive applies to the Electricity Works Regulations and to the Offshore Production and Pipe-lines Regulations. MCA consultation on prevention of marine pollution

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is consulting on proposals for implementing the revised Annex II of MARPOL through the proposed Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Pollution from Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk) Regulations 2017.
