EU consultation on changes to the Combined Transport Directive

The European Commission is consulting on proposed improvements to the Combined Transport Directive (92/106/EEC).  This directive was published in 1992 and a number of problems have been identified including definition, non-effective incentives and problems with implementation and monitoring. In addition, the provisions relating to transport documents are outdated making it difficult for industry to prove and authorities to control eligibility. Consultation closes 23rd April. https://ec.europa.eu/transport/node/4874
