MCA Consultation on work boat

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is consulting on The Merchant Shipping (Small Workboats and Pilot Boats) Regulations 2023.  Consultation closes 29th December. The Merchant Shipping (Small Workboats and Pilot Boats) Regulations 2023 and accompanying Code of Practice applies to workboats, including remotely operated unmanned vessels operating as workboats, and pilot boats which are less than 24m load line length. DEFRA consultation on RoHS exemption

EA consultation on changes to standard rules permits for medium combustion plant and specified generators

The Environment Agency is consulting on proposals to change standard rules permits for medium combustion plant and specified generators. Consultation closes 8th January 2023. The purpose of this consultation is to introduce changes associated with the implementation of the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD) EU/2015/2193.
