7th January 2020HSE revise explosives licensing process
As a result of a review of the regime used for granting explosives licences HSE has updated the existing licence application forms and introduced a number of new forms to better reflect the range of explosive activities requiring a licence and to facilitate the supporting administrative framework.
The forms are:
- LP41 – application to HSE for a new explosives licence
- LP42 – application to HSE for a variation to an existing explosive licence
- LP43 – application to HSE to transfer a licence to another company
- LP44 – application to HSE for the Receipt of a Transfer of an Existing Licence FROM Another Person or Company
- LP45 – application to HSE for a Variation to a licence with regards to Change of Licensee Name/Address of Site/Address of Licensee
- LP46 – application to HSE for a Licence to Manufacture and/or Store of Ammonium Nitrate Blasting Intermediate (ANBI) only
- LP47 – application to HSE for a variation to an existing licence to Manufacture and/or Store of Ammonium Nitrate Blasting Intermediate (ANBI) only
- LP48 – application to the Health and Safety Executive for a Licence to Manufacture Explosives by means of On-site Mixing
