Simplifi April 2024 newsletter

In our April newsletter we present a new piece of legislation concerning anti-fouling of merchant shipping.  During the month amendments were made to three Statuary Instruments covering cosmetics, pressure equipment and boiler up-grades.  Four environmental regulations were revoked. For The Republic of Ireland, we have one new Statuary Instrument on dangerous substances.  For the EU we have legislation on the ecodesign requirements for local space heaters. The Environment Agency is consulting on charging for waste.   In the news were two changes to guidance from HSE.  We have a prosecution of note following an illegal trans-border shipment of waste.
