SI 2022/8

SI 2022/8.  The Personal Protective Equipment at Work (Amendment) Regulations 2022.  These regulations amend SI 1992/2966 Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992.  Comes into force 6^th April. The amendments include a new definition of a “worker” and extends the meaning of “work”.  The amendments also modify the duty, not to charge employees for PPE, contained in section 9 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.  Various references are amended.
