SI 2022/347. The Genetically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2022. Comes into force 11^th April.  These Regulations amend SI 2002/2443 the Genetically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) Regulations 2002. The amendments are with respect to “qualifying higher plants” which are genetically modified organisms but have not been genetically modified other than to make modifications which (a) could have occurred naturally, or (b) could have been made using one or more of the techniques set out in Regulation 5.
