EU 2023/2055.  Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2055 amending Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards synthetic polymer microparticles.  Comes into force 25^th September. The amendment adds Category 78) Synthetic polymer microparticles, with certain exclusions, which are solid and fulfil designated conditions shall not be placed on the market as substances on their own or in mixtures in a concentration equal to or greater than 0,01 % by weight. The amendment also adds test regimes for the degradability and solubility of polymers.
