SR 2019/240. The Waste Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019.   Comes into force 16^th January.  These Regulations amends The Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 (SR 1997/2778) by changing, in a number of places, the word “strategy” to the word “plan”.  Similar amendments are made to The Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002(SR  2002/3153), The Waste and Emissions Trading Act 2003(A 2003/c.33), The Waste Management Licensing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 (SR 2003/493),  The Hazardous Waste Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 (SR 2005/300) and The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 (SR 2007/198)
