SI 2021/511.  The Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Kyoto Protocol Registry) Regulations 2021.  Comes into force 1^st May.  These Regulations make amendments to legislation in the field of international climate change commitments. Part 2 amends the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme (Amendment) and National Emissions Inventory Regulations 2005 (SI 2005/2903), which relate to projects for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Part 3 amends Commission Regulation (EU) No 389/2013, which relates to maintaining a registry for the purposes of greenhouse gas emissions obligations under the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Part 4 makes consequential amendments.
