The Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulations 2016. Coming into force 1st July.

Part 2 sets out the main duties for employers under the Regulations. Part 3 sets out supplementary duties and gives the Health and Safety Executive limited powers to exempt employers from specific duties.

The main duties and provisions in Parts 2 and 3 of these Regulations are as follows—
(a) employers must ensure that employees are not exposed to electromagnetic field levels in excess of prescribed exposure limits. These limits are contained in Part 2 of the Schedule;
(b)all employers must assess the levels of electromagnetic fields to which their employees may be exposed
(c)all employers must make and implement an action plan to reduce exposure levels and assess the risks posed to their employees
(i) identified risks must be eliminated or reduced to a minimum and
(ii) appropriate information and training must be provided to employees
