The Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Tachographs) (Amendment) Regulations 2016. Comes into force 2nd March. These Regulations implement the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 165/2014.

The Transport Act 1968 is amended by adding a new section on the Authorisation of field tests. Amendments are also made to the Road Transport Act 1988, Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) Regulations 1979 and Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Tachograph Card) Regulations 2006
