In our newsletter for September 2025, we present one new UK regulation on online safety, an amendment to a regulation on electrical safety in rented properties and a commencement. For the Republic of Ireland there are three amendments; two concerning renewable energy and one on waste electronic and electrical equipment. There is no relevant EU legislation.
We bring to your attention two consultations. The first is on changes to infrastructure consenting for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. The second is on changes to standard rules permits for medium combustion plant and specified generators. In the news was a press release from HSE about hearing protection. There were no prosecutions of note.
