EA consulting on changes to H5 Site Condition Report guidance

The Environment Agency is consulting on updating the guidance to Environmental Permitting: H5 Site Condition Report. Consultation posted on 24^th November and closes 19^th January 2026. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/environment-permitting-h5-site-condition-report-proposals-for-updated-guidance  Once this guidance is published, the 2013 Site Condition Report guidance and Regulatory Guidance Note 9 (RGN9) – Surrender will be withdrawn. The 2013 H5 Site Condition Report Template will also be withdrawn and replaced.
