Consultation on proposed permitted development rights for wind turbines

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero is consulting on existing and proposed permitted development rights for wind turbines. Consultation published on 18^th March and closes on 10^th June. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/permitted-development-rights-for-onshore-wind-turbines-in-england  The consultation covers a new PDR (Permitted Development Right) which would allow small-scale, non-domestic wind turbines to be installed without the need for a planning application, subject to a set of conditions and limitations, to support small-scale onshore wind deployment.
