Consultation on draft plan for future offshore energy licensing

Department for Energy Security and Net Zero is consulting on a draft plan/programme to enable future offshore energy leasing and licensing.  Consultation published on 29^th January and closes on 6^th March. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/offshore-energy-strategic-environmental-assessment-5-scoping  The programme will cover future leasing/licensing for offshore renewable energy; offshore gas, carbon dioxide and hydrogen storage and future Transitional Energy Certificates for oil and gas and associated infrastructure.
