Consultation on construction products safety regs.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is consulting on proposals to introduce a general safety requirement (GSR) for construction products that are not regulated.  Consultation published on 25^th February and closes on 20^th May. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/general-safety-requirement-for-construction-products  These regulations will require that construction products placed on the market are safe and will place specific obligations on businesses. The regulations will also provide enforcement powers to the national regulator for construction products.
